Brand Identity
The Power House: Poole branding was a project that involved multiple stakeholders to determind the identity to the organisation. The objective was to create a brand that reflected the values of this new community initiative that leans heavily into promoting arts & culture. Equally, the goals of health & wellbeing lend itself to texture and organic shape. We decided on a minimal logo with elements of the sea to represent Poole’s location and the sun as a source of power. The goal was to move away from industrial imagery which could have negative connotations. The result was a simple brand that had room for “playfulness” to embrace some of their main themes such as youth, the arts and well-being.
