Symbol / Samantha Bloch

Samantha has now launched her hand-crafted, symbolic jewellery with a special wave-inspired collection. Keywords for this project were organic and natural. I came up with this concept combining the ideas of being hand-made with a wave flowing through along with a wave element in the placement of a bracelet. The final element represents both a ring and a source of power. The submark for SMBL Studio are two S’s in a wave-like form. The branding elements are based on minimal, fluid and primitive imagery. To finish, we added texture and through a series of mock-ups we reinforced the identity by giving the logo a carved or faded look.
